New Professor for Data Analytics at the Department
Prof. Dr. Timm Oertel is newly appointed Professor for Data Analytics at the Department of Data Science.
Timm Oertel’s research focuses on mathematical foundations of data analytics. His expertise is in the fields of optimization and convex and discrete geometry. In particular, he is interested in structural and complexity questions that arise from discrete optimization.
